Rebecca Minkoff Parties at Jimmy at the James

On Friday, September 6, Jimmy, the rooftop lounge at the swank James Hotel in Soho was the place to be late night for the Rebecca Minkoff afterparty. Jamie Chung – looking sleek and polished in a low-cut navy dress – toasted her friend, Rebecca, with Peroni at the designer’s packed-to-the-rafters celebration. Guests danced to music by Rajni Jacques and DJ Mia Moretti while taking in sweeping views from the hotel’s rooftop- doing their best to stay out of the pool. Spotted at the party: Kate Nash, Jessica Lowndes, Devyn, Caitlin Moe, and Brian Greenberg.

Rag & Bone at The Output

Close to midnight, it was off to Rag & Bone’s afterparty in Brooklyn, yes, Brooklyn. Leave it to the edgy fashion line to test the loyalty of their fans with a schlep of such proportions. Once inside Williamsburg’s multi-tier club, The Output, and on yet another rooftop, we enjoyed a great night of dancing, cheering on the Peroni beer pong frenzy and celebrating the designer duo’s latest runway show.

Opening Ceremony

Opening Ceremony celebrated its Spring/Summer 2014 looks on Sunday, September 8 at Hudson River Park’s Pier 57 aka the “Super Pier.” Earning high marks in the “unconventional” department, Opening Ceremony transformed the enormous warehouse space wherein models arrived in sports cars, from which they exited immediately before taking the stage in designers’ Humberto Leon and Carol Lim’s new looks. Yes, each model went straight from the car, onto the catwalk. How’s that for unconventional? Front row onlookers included Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Baz Luhrmann, Rashida Jones, the ATL Twins, Mickey Boardman, Leigh Lezark, and Russell Westbrook, to name a few. Following the show, partygoers stuck around to celebrate the evening in the adjoining after party space, where SVEDKA Vodka bottles glowed throughout the spookily dark room and enjoyed different shops and food-truck like shacks surrounding the warehouse on the pier. Partygoers danced into the early hours of the morning
