Salsa in the Garden

MiamiARTzine, the online magazine, will celebrate its 7th anniversary tonight. A highlight of the evening is the presentation of the 5th Annual miamiARTzine Visionary Awards. This year’s award recipients are Joseph Adler, Producing Artistic Director of GableStage at the Biltmore; Choreographer/Dancer Ana Bolt; and Jaie LaPlante, Director of Miami International Film Festival. In keeping with the Salsa theme, KCC Productions presents a lively mélange of music, including two-time Grammy nominee Marlow Rosado and La Riqueña, the Kiki Sanchez Trio and Grammy-winning artist Thania Sanz with special guest, trumpeter Julian Cifuentes. The celebration also features a silent auction, with tickets to many of South Florida’s exciting arts venues. Venezuelan-born artist, Maria Rivas is the featured artist.
