Miami Beach will celebrate its 100th birthday on March 26, 2015, and preparations are already underway. As part of the roll-out for its centennial, the public is invited to vote for their favorite logo that will serve as the signature mark for the celebration.
There are four options to choose from that incorporate current city branding with a centennial twist. To vote, visit the city’s homepage here. The last day to vote is Friday, April 25.
“We are excited to be getting our residents, visitors and employees involved in selecting our centennial look,” said Miami Beach City Manager Jimmy L. Morales. “It’s just the start of getting everyone rallied up for an exciting year-long celebration.”
Historic Miami Beach photos are also currently on display at the City Hall Fourth Floor Gallery, which includes 134 photos on canvas arranged by decade. The exhibit will run through May of this year.
