News: Miami Beach Food Trucks & Music Fest Brings it Down with House Music


Great food and music are synonymous with Miami Beach. Now, you can enjoy South Florida’s popular gourmet food trucks while listening to free live entertainment at the monthly Miami Beach Food Truck & Music Fest*.

The festival is held on the fourth Wednesday of the month at the North Shore Bandshell on Collins Avenue and 73 Street from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Live entertainment begins 6:00 p.m. and varies each month.

On March 27, the North Shore Bandshell will be thumping to the sounds of DJ Oren Nizri, Jei and Amuka.

At 6:00 p.m., Israeli DJ/Producer Oren Nizri will bring his brand of big-room techno and progressive House sounds to the Bandshell.

At 8:45 p.m., Miami native Jei will take the stage. Jei performed at this year’s IDMA’s International Dance Music Awards and was nominated last year for her hit “Amame.”

At 9:00 p.m., songwriter and vocalist Amuka (Sheila Brody) will sing her heartfelt lyrics that will transport you to another place. Amuka’s 2003 dance anthem, “Appreciate Me,” was a Billboard Top 10 hit.

Popular food trucks include: Ms Cheezious, Latin Burger, Sakaya, Catered Bliss, Health Nut, Garcia Brothers, Arepa Box, Gastropod, The Mexican, Moty’s, Mushaboom, Dolci Pecati, Sugar Yummy, Boba Station, Fireman Derrick, Hip Pop, and Coffee Break.??Local Miami Beach participating businesses are Lou’s Beer Garden, Sazon, and Tumi de Oro.
